Yettel Bulgaria has successfully prevented 159,662 kg of electronic waste from ending up in landfills over the last four years (2022–2025). With this achievement, the telecom has surpassed its 2028 sustainability goal of diverting 127,000 kg of e-waste by 25%, reaching the milestone two years ahead of schedule.

Yettel Bulgaria prevents nearly 160 tons of e-waste
This success was driven by retail collection points, recycling old company equipment, and repairing customer devices.
Reducing e-waste has been Yettel's cause since 2008, when the company equipped all of its stores with special points for handing over end-of-life devices and batteries. The telecom focuses its efforts in two main areas – extending the life cycle of devices and raising awareness about e-waste.
